The Golan Heights

the Golan heights are a region in Israel, on the other side of the Jordan river and the Sea of Galilee, next to the border with Syria.
The area was a battle field for may years and today, a region that offers beautiful waterfalls, rivers, trekking and 4x4 tours, but also rich archeological sites, ancient synagoges and history.
A visit of the region must include a taste of local pruducts: wineries, olive oil, Israeli beers and good food...
