Bauhaus in Tel-Aviv
Tel Aviv is famous for being the "White City", a world heritage site by UNESCO, thanks to 4,000 Bauhaus buildings that were built in throughout the 30s.
A tour in Rothschild Avenue, Hertzel street and the early streets of Tel Aviv, is a journey to the short but fascinating history of the city. Together we will see how the city, developed in only 108 years, became the biggest Metropolis in Israel and house to the High Tec industry, Diamond bourse and Stock exchange.
The Bauhaus style arrived with the immigrants from Germany and was adopted and adapted to the hot climate in Israel. Many of the buildings were renovated and preserved.
